Could #Apple buy #Nintendo?

Apple has cash but a small selection of good games. They do not have a reasonable living room presence with Apple TV.

Nintendo needs money. They have good games and great franchises that both users and professionals love. But they are limited to their own hardware base. Especially Wii U is too few. They do not have laptop or desktop presence. They have a good chance for living room, they have a large hidden base, now underused, with the families owning the old Wii.

Both have the same quality conscious upper price range strategy. Both are a bit snobby, elite, but at the same time a bit underdoggish rebel stances, at least in my image. Both are in handheld market. Both excel in engineering a complete and harmonised hardware ecosystem. Both have great design, especially ergonomy and usability. Games and other software UX engineering ideas could cross-pollinate new quality.

Two companies  need to support two complete ecosystems. While manufacturing and logistics is cheap, all development and marketing are expensive, now doubled, but could be merged, certainly with huge cost savings.

Ninapple? Apptendo? ;-) Seriously:

- Nintendo as an Apple brand!
- Nintendo games on all Apple platforms
- Merge platforms, hw engineering, software development, marketing, manufacturing, distribution
